Do Blog RS URGENTE.Os Shministim são jovens estudantes israelenses, todos com idade entre 16 e 19 anos, no final do segundo grau. Eles recusam o alistamento no exército de Israel por objeção de consciência. Estão presos por isso. Esses estudantes defendem um futuro de paz para israelenses e palestinos e negam-se a pegar em armas. Além da prisão, enfrentam uma enorme pressão da família, de amigos e do governo de Israel. No dia 18 de dezembro foi iniciada uma campanha mundial pela libertação desses jovens.Os Shministim pediram ao grupo "Jewish Voice for Peace" para buscar pessoas em todo o mundo para pressionar o governo de Israel. Eles esperam receber centenas de milhares de cartões que serão entregues ao ministro da Defesa de Israel.
